- Very nice!
If you are an Elton fan, or not, you'll enjoy this collection of his music. The albums are three of his earlier works which I think are underplayed anyway. Younger fans may not have heard some of this music but to me early Elton is some of the very best so this collection is much appreciated.

- Timeless
I have been looking for these CD's for years. Have had the original vinyl albums since I was 16 and played so much I memorized the words. Now, 30+ years later, I still remember the words. This set is so excellent. With few exceptions (Requiem for a Friend, being one) this is Elton John at his best.
The packaging is fabulous, love the booklets for each album, mini versions of the originals. Elton's picture on the set cover is very HOT!
Early and new fans will not be disappointed.

- This is not a "Box Set" !!!
This is not a box set. It is Eltons first three american albums packaged together. These CD's have been available since CD's first came out.

- Lame excuse for a "box set"
I ordered this as a gift for someone that enjoys Elton John. This is a good set of his first 3 albums which in my opinion were the only decent ones. Amazon messed up the shipping and sent a Bon Jovi box set instead. I know Elton John and Bon Jovi are of the same caliber when it comes to talent but that was a mistake that this person is forced to listen to.
