- The Best album in Spain and possibly the world in 1988.

There is not a single thing I dislike in this album. Manolo Garcia, the lead vocalist, really comes to life in this album and shows how eclectic he is musically. In "En los Arboles", he sings in Spanish a song that is with arab/middle eastern intonations, the first time I have ever heard Spanish sung arabic style, truly beautiful! All the songs have a great beat and rhythm to them and are pop and rock sounding. The lyrics are deep and poetic, showing great intellectual depth and meaning. This album is an inspiration for me and I'm sure it will be for anyone else who is fortunate enough to listen to it.

- an excellent album

This is my one of my favourites albums of the Ultimo de la Fila, the best group from Spain.Manolo Garcia and Quimi Portet made excellents songs and music toghether and now separately.Their songs like:"insurrección","Quien eres tu?","Tu me sobrevuelas"...are fantastics.

- Are you kidding?

I am sure album is great. But for that price I rather fly to Miami for $125 buy the sed CD for $9 and return the same day, saving $$. I could even fly to Spain for two days, buy the CD, eat a Paella, come home and still feel good about not paying hundreds for a CD. The Paella... totally worth the trip!!

- Excellent album just as long as you don;t buy the "remixed/remastered" version

I bought the original pressing in Spain about 15 years ago on a trip to Madrid, and recently i bought the limited edition remastered box set from an online vendor. If you love this album, you'll keep the original CD as they have "improved " the mix of all the songs by removing instruments that made this album and its songs so endearing. The result of the remix is that it sounds like a karaoke version of Manolo Garcia singing to a playback track, minus some instruments and effects (the drums were re-recorded as well as the vocals, the cowbell removed in "Sara" and "La Piedra Redonda" , as well as the keyboard notes in "Llanto de pasion" as examples), plus they cranked up the volume of the music too loud - and I happen to be a "fan" of remastered albums, but this volume boost is excessive by any measure. In conclusion this is an excellent album, and along with "Nuevo Pequeno Catalogo..." woill provide years of enjoyment of this unfortunately and tragically unknown band in the United States outside of the fringes of the Latino community (i.e. fans of Rock en Espanol who are not dumb metalheads). It is a pity that this band did not make it bigger here, but a piece of crap like Shakira's world cup song will.

- Thumbs up!

I had this album in 1988 right after I discovered EUDLF through "Nuevas Mezclas"(my favorite EUDLF album). "Como la cabeza al sombrero" is a more ambitious, mature project with truly delicious songs, above all "Sara" and "La Piedra Redonda", a pop tune that injects hope and energy to whomever listens to it. This CD has two extra tracks (instrumental) not present in previous versions, including the Spanish CD (which I have) and the older vinyl version.

As in other reviews, this band is excellent for those who also learn Spanish as a second language: beautiful, surrealistic yet easy-to-understand lyrics. No one will be disappointed with this CD
