- Their best single in years!!!

this was the one time where Duran Duran decided to just do what they did best instead of trying to keep up with the latest music trends, and what you have is one of their best singles since Planet Earth, Girls on Film, and the other classic new wave songs from their first album. And the remixes do a good job of retaining that sound...as if the original version weren't danceable enough. A definite treat for Duran Duran fans who got a little discouraged by their often inferior late 80s-early 90s releases.

- There are better singles...

Although I'm a Duran Duran fan, I must admit that I just liked one remix of this maxi single. I also liked the remix for "Out of My Mind" and the B-side "Sinner and Saint". And, of course, the enhanced bonus video. If you are collecting Duran Duran, buy it. If not, you won't miss it.

- Their best single to date? I think not.

You see, if there's anything to know about Duran Duran, I'd know it. I know their most popular albums, and Medazzaland was not one of them. I know their most popular singles, and Electric Barbarella is sure as heck not there. But did it deserve to be there? Was it just some single that was greatly underrated and deserves to be up there?

Not at all.

Electric Barbarella just irritates me. I don't know what it is; either the horrible cover, the horrible song, the horrible video, or just the horrible transition in all. Relistening to the whole Medazzaland album made me realize that I don't like it. The lyrics were definitely not Simon's best, and it made me almost cry to think that this is the best they could come up with! The remixes are only extended versions of the mediocre song, and "Sinner Or Saint" is the only reason you'd want to buy this single.

Eh.
