- So far their Destiny looks good ...album is blazing!
This album from destiny's child is just blazing and if you don't want to take my word for it just go out and get it. I never heard the whole of their last cd but I know that this is one of their best. Lyrics and beats especially is just tight. I don't buy to many R+B cds but this one was too Hot not to listen to. The 2 lead singers did producing and writing and you can see it on this cd. The beats..........They will leave you in smoke. I seriously didn't expect this to be that tight. They were really creative on this one with making up the commandments for love like, "Thou shalt not follow temptation", and "Thou shalt not bug" at the beginning of each song. It was phat how they made up there voices in the beginning to sound like "the God father" and calling their fans the Don. My favorite tracks are: Jumpin Jumpin, Confessing, Bills bills bills, and the remix of it, Bugaboo, where did you go, say my name, stay and so good. Thats about the whole cd but that's how good it is. Rodney Jerkins did a good job on the "say my name" track and he finally made a new sound thats different from all the other stuff he did like "The boy is mine"(brandy and monica) and "If you had my love"(Jennifer lopez. Next came in strong on this one too. Everything is tight and you can see they didn't rush it like some artists are doing. If you are looking for a group with tight beats, and vocals then this is for you no doubt. I see sucess in in this groups destiny because they just get tighter and tighter everytime. I can't believe they are only 18....but they r making moves. Get it!

- Divas of Generation Next
Beyonce, LaTavia, LaToya, and Kelly are the names of four Divas of our generartion. These girls bring forth a soulful and mature sound in the quality of their voices. Yet the subject matter of each and every song is something that every teenage girl and young women can relate to. From the soulful ballad "She Can't Love You" to the make you wannna party song "Jumpin' Jumpin'". These girls bring it to you to let the listners know that they may be young but they definitley have got it going on. I also had the oppurtunity of seeing the group perform live while they were on the Fan Mail tour with trio TLC, and the energy presented in person is just as great in live as it is on the CD. So go ahead and make that purchase TODAY.Everybodies doing it! Remember it's Destiny's Child; "The Writings on The Wall". I guarantee that you won't be disappointed and by the second day you get you'll know every word to every song! Destiny's Child, You go girls!

- If you can get pass the male bashing, this CD's great.
After hearing "Bills, Bills, Bills" I thought that was going to be the theme of the whole CD. Technically it is, but with the quality of songs on the CD it helps everyone get over it. " Bug A Boo" continues in the "Bills...." fashion talking about a male who is constantly bothersome. " Where Destiny's Child wins people over are with the slow songs. "Confessions" w/ Missy Elliott has Beyonce confessing to her boyfriend about her cheating on him. "Temptations" has Beyonce caught up between her man and the temptations of another. "If You Leave" f/Next says if you leave your bad relationship , I'll leave mine and we'll be together. And the best song in my opinion, "Stay" has Beyonce asking the one she's with if he will be with her regardless of the terms of their relationship. Other notable tracks are "Now That She's Gone", "Say My Name" and "She Can't Love You". Destiny's Child has a winner with this one but just like Dru Hill's Sisqo, I can see Beyonce going solo.

- Destiny's Child great second CD
Destiny's Child's sophomore album, The Writing's on the Wall, is by far the best pop R n B album of 99-00. Entering the Billboard Hot 200 chart at number 6 was a big accomplishment for the at time quartet. The theme for the album is "Destiny's Child's Commandments on Relationships," explaining why the whole album is about the bad things that happen in relationships. The album itself is a straight through group of hits. The phenomenal #1 hit smash/ girl anthem "Bills, Bills, Bills," thou shall pay bills, a song about a trifling man, was only the beginning. The CD is full of party jams like "Jumpin' Jumpin'", thou shall get your party on," "Bug a Boo," thou shall not bug, and "Hey Ladies," thou shall know when he's got to go, but is also able to slow it down a bit and prove that the things that go wrong in some relationships isn't always the mans fault with slow jams like, "Confessions," thou shall confess, with Missy Elliot, " Temptations," thou shall not give into temptations, and, "If you Leave," thou shall move on to the next, a duet with R n B super group Next. Other great songs on the album that do the exact opposite are, "So Good," thou shall note hate, "Now That She's Gone," thou shall not think you got it like that, and, "Where'd you Go?", thou shall not leave me wondering. The cut is ended with a tribute to their passed away mentor Amoretti Tillman, with an accappella rendition of,"Amazing Grace." Although some say the girls are too young to know what they're talking about, I believe them to be educated very well in the bad relationship areas through others personal experiences, causing them to be able to share these with people of all ages.
