If you actually listened to the verses instead of just the chorus, you'd hear that DC are sonning sleazy, tacky women NOT sexy ladies. Sexy ladies have class and carry themselves differently no matter what they're wearing. Sleazy women go beyond short skirts, they have their "booty out" "tongue out her mouth" "flirting with every man she sees" and "looking trashy". Now how exactly is that hypocritical when Destiny's Child actually does "respect themselves and have dignity" like the song says?
I"m giving this a 5 because it's a really upbeat 2001 pop track with a Tarzan interpolation! Who thinks of that? Oh, and the vocal performance is stellar as usual.
In which our heroines put down a scantily clad woman, even though Destiny's Child are known for wearing skimpy outfits themselves. But if you were to remove the hypocritical lyrics, you're still stuck with a generic beat that sounds like something we've heard on a zillion other records. I actually like Destiny's Child, but I wasn't feelin' this one at all.
