Destiny's Child Album: “Star Profile”

This is not Destiny's Child new Cd. It is an unauthorized doucmentary Cd with some woman talking for 35min.

THIS IS NOT A NEW CD FROM DESTINY'S CHILD... Some very funny people have written rather doubtful reviews about thi so called new cd.. Here we have good information about DC which you'd all enjoy if you are not buying it for the music ;) I think it is very funny though that people actually write reviews about a non existing cd... Have fun... this is a good cd for educational purposes... ;)

Another great album, great songs....my favorite is SURVIVOR...good beats, could be better than their previous album.....great CD...

I was fortunate enough to hear an advance copy of this great new release from Destiny's Child. SO, I took notes to let everyone know what a treasure this album is. SONG 1 - SURVIVOR. We have all heard it. A life after love power piece depicting a post relationship strength, with an almost obnoxiously catching hook! SONG 2 - CHAINS OF LOVE. I almost hoped this was a cover of the 80's ERASURE hit, but it is its own song about the 4 original Destiny women torn between one man they all feel chained to emotionally. SONG 3 - BIG BROTHER. About an emotional family tie. SONG 4 - THE REAL WORLD - A touching ballad with a touching tune and meaningful lyrics. SONG 5 - THE MOLE. This high energy piece is a girl powered pounce on those who tried to sabotage Destiny's brilliant career early on. 6. ROAD RULES - hardships and joys of life on the road. 7. BANDS ON THE RUN - speaks of [similar] groups and competition 8. TEMPTATION ISLAND - A melodic fantasy musing if these girls were left on a fantasy island. 9. BOOT CAMP - is a mid tempo classic dealing with the pressures of being a part of the modern girl group machine. 10. POPSTARS is a cute and short ditty about the group's quick rise to fame. 11. MAKING THE BAND is a confessional number about the ever changing members of DESTINY'S CHILD. This is a gorgeous album full of reality and feeling. I loved every moment of it. There is even a hidden bonus track. This track is heard by REWINDING the first track (SURVIVOR) after 5 minutes of reverse, play the CD forward and you will hear WHO WANTS TO MARRY A MILLIONAIRE - a touching ballad/dance song about the unintentional need and worship of a dominating man. Talk about girl power! This album is a hit. Get it now!

destiny's child has really out done themselves this time. you thought that writings on the wall was good just wait till you hear this man. if i could i would play this all day but i have to go to school during the day. but once i get home i turn it right on.
