- Very, Extremely Pleased With This Release
Culture Club fans, run out and get this DVD when it comes out. It is so nice to see the Culture Club videos from the early 80's. Unlike a lot of other compilations (most recenly Peter Gabriel's "Play"), the producers of the DVD didn't screw with the track list. The videos appear on the DVD in order of release date, at least I think they do. The DVD opens up with "Do You Really Want To Hurt Me," which is followed up by the video for "Time (Clock of the Heart)." It is really great seeing the video for "Time" because it seems like this video hasn't been played on VH-1 Classic or other video outlets as much as some of the other videos over the years.
The videos from the first few albums were very influenced by Japanese Culture, most namely, "Miss Me Blind," "Love is Love," and "It's A Miracle." In the video for "War Song," George is wearing red hair and by the video "Move Away," George is sporting short hair. The new (1998/1999) videos are also included. "I Just Want To Be Loved" is a really great song with a reggae beat.
Yes, the DVD does include the concert "A Kiss Across The Ocean." It's nice to finally have this on DVD. Before the show starts you can see the many Culture Club fans dressed as George or various members of the group. The concert was much more simple than concerts of today or even a Duran Duran concert back in the day. The stage was small and intimate. There wasn't a huge video screen or special effects, George and the band and Helen Terry doing their thing.
Another cool extra is Culture Club Then and Now. There is an interview with the whole group. George is sporting a large hat and dreads. He has been sporting a bald look with paint as of late so it's hard to tell when this interview was recorded, maybe at their last reunion. I'm guessing the interview is from 1998 era? George is wearing the same hat that he wears in the "I Just Want To Be Loved" video. It's a great DVD and a lot of time and effort was put into it. The video quality looks about the same, it is not quite as sharp as I expected.

- CULTURE CLUB Greatest Hits
This CD & DVD made me so happy. I had a party and my friends and I all danced for hours! I had a lot of these songs during the 80's but on cassette tapes that haven't survived. This Album/DVD rules!
A Must Buy!

- I'M IN LOVE ALL OVER AGAIN!!!
I am really overwhelmed. This is definitely, absolutely the best DVD I own! The almost twenty dollars it cost is so inexpensive, I feel I should have paid more. This collection contains music I listened to and enjoyed the most growing up. I recall how my dad hated seeing pictures of Boy George in the house when I was 14 years old. He hated that his only son worshipped a boy in drag! It wasn't the make-up or the flamboyant, outlandish clothes that mattered to me though -- it was the songs. From Time (Clock of the Heart) and Victims, to the more recent I Just Wanna Be Loved and Cold Shoulder, Culture Club was, and continues to be, a purveyor of some of the most memorable and timeless pop. George's over-the-top, gender-bending, cross-dressing personality/image only completed the package that ultimately, transcended the squeamishness of the era and gave the band global appeal and success. Unfortunately, he doesn't sing as well as he used to. Today, his almost damaged voice is scratchy and grating, and I was appalled to see him perform in the band's 20th anniversary concert at the Royal Albert Hall. In this greatest hits DVD, I can just remember Culture Club at their brightest, fightingest best. The way I would always want to. Thanks guys, for everything. :-)

- Culture Club on dvd -- Jaya Boy George
At last we have an excellent dvd of videos from the most colorful band from the 80s (aside from the Pet Shop Boys). The videos from the 2000 cd is worth the price of this dvd. Those Boy George eyes along with those John Moss eyes highlight the sounds and songs of this dvd. This dvd is a definite MUST for any CC lover. Even the video with highlights of Boy George's adventures in Hare Krsna Land is worth it all. Now bring on the Boy George solo videos and we can go back to Lord Krsna a happy fan. Peace.

- AWESOME DVD!!!! Definitely one of the VERY BEST music DVD's I've ever owned, Boy George is so COOL!!
God I LOVE this DVD!! Culture Club were totally cool in the '80's and are just as cool now. Boy George was sooooo ahead of his time! All the classic Culture Club videos are here, every single solitary one. I really LOVED the videos from the WAKING UP WITH THE HOUSE ON FIRE album - I saw Culture Club at Meadowlands Continental Arena in 1984 on that tour when I was 15. MISTAKE NO. 3 video reminds me of my sophomore year in high school, '85, I remember that video coming on all the time! The 3 new videos are awesome. I would love to see Boy George's solo hits, EVERYTHING I OWN & THE CRYING GAME out on DVD, but as for this DVD & CD, no Culture Club hit was left out. The reunion interview - very cool too - I love the band's sense of humor (example - BOY GEORGE: "What's the difference between Culture Club then & now?" JON MOSS: "Probably about 400 pounds!" Culture Club has it all - gay, straight, blac, white... it's all in the band. Boy George has to be one of the best rock & soul singers of, well, definitely "my time!" Way cool!
