Disco de Cascada: “Everytime We Touch”
 Descripción (en inglés) :
Cascada's 2006 release EVERYTIME WE TOUCH delivers more of the artist's clubby electronic pop, which combines elements of disco, house, and straightforward commercial pop. The insistent, thumping tracks that back Cascada's sweet vocals wouldn't be out of place on the playlist of any mid-2000s DJ, but it's the blonde bombshell's hooky refrains that really make these tunes stick. This comes recommended to those who have enjoyed the recent work of Madonna and Cher.

- Pretty good debut but please no ballads and covers!
Like many people I was hooked on the song "Everytime we Touch" and thus decided to not only download this song, but two others (How do you do! and Bad Boy). After listening to these three songs non stop I decided to buy the album hoping that there were more songs like those.
I was surprised. "How do you do!" was a bit different that the version that I downloaded but it was still good. Matter of fact, the much of the album is pretty good. Not bad for a vocal dance debut.
The only reason why I gave this 4 and not 5 stars was because of the songs "Another Girl" (track 5) and the cover of Savage Garden's "Truly Madly Deeply" (track 10). These ballads were terrible and it made Cascada sound like she was on American Idol.
Bottom Line: Get this album if you like the dance beat of "Everytime we Touch", all but two tracks (5 and 10) are filled with the dance beat that are addictive, catchy and fun.

- Dance-Interupted for American tweens
The big draw of the record is the first song and Cascada's only real hit the heavy thumping Everytime We Touch, which is a great song. In that aspect you could say the CD unloads early or leaves you in the same song for the next forty minutes. There is little to no variation among the bubbly lyric signiture heavy thumping dance selections, which are good just shallow. There are unfortunate rest periods that make you simply wish to skip to the next song as this sometimes chunky British songbird tries her hand at slow ballads including a near crap candlelight remix of you know what, a bad idea as these lack any of the echoing sadness and underdeveloped beauty of DHT's Listen to your Heart, and she is not so much a song bird as a rooster. Her voice is wrong if listened to with no base or sythisizer, she would have been better off plugging the base in and forging ahead. Still her atempt at trance laced pop in Never Ending Dream and upbeat remake of Kids in America are commendable along with Everytime. But the rest seems to run together with various snatches inextricably sticking in your head all with that same beat. If you are searching for a truly soulfoul real dance workout stick to the heavy European pop or club compliations. I recommend DJ Top 100, or Dutch Now Dance Summer O6, or Ministry of Sound Clubber's Guides.

- Outstanding Music to Run!
http://www.myspace.com/cascada. I am at a loss of words as to describe their music. You'll have to listen to know how it is. Similar to reading about a place and actually being in that place. Cascada's music is just like that. You'll have to listen (sample) to truly appreciate their style. My listening repertoire are mainly the opera recitals, but when Cascada's music sounds this good, what can I say? Music is music is music!
What attracted me towards Cascada in the first place? The awesome beats and deep bass that will motivate any runner to finish their miles. During study breaks, Cascada's music makes a great tune to unwind and recharge your brain to absorb information.
If you have doubts about their style, Cascada has the official band page on Myspace and you can sample fully 4 of their songs that appears on their debut CD.
But it and support this cool genre of dance/trance/techno.

- This is one of the best out there..for now.
I'm seeing a lot of reviews mocking this release, however, I really think the vocalist in this group (Natalie) has a lot of power and wit to her songs. She sounds wonderfully crisp and emotional in all of the tracks of this album.
Every track has sort of a "breathtaking" feel to it. It's true that they are all churned-out and produced in the same manner, in fact, one of the tracks "Wouldn't It Be Good" sounds exactly like "Everytime We Touch" minus lyrical changes.
I still feel wonderful while listening to this CD. It has energy and life, unlike the sort of dead sound present in many other dance CDs. People are comparing this to DHT, while I feel DHT's sound is the more typical club sound. Cascada is more like hard-vocal-trance, and this is probably the first in that genre to ever see an American popular release.
This is only the beginning of something wonderful. There is so much electronical creativity out there. In conclusion, while this album may have repetitive beats, it is a pioneer of this genre in the pop-music section. Those who are negative to the CD should at least respect it for that.
Perhaps Cascada will see a 2nd album someday with a lot more changes in tune. But for now, this CD is something I can listen to over and over and never get tired of Natalie's voice.

- The Same Sound the Whole Time!
Ok first off, when you listen to "Everytime We Touch" you're done because the rest of the cd is EXACTLY the same. I have tried and tried to listen to the whole cd, but I just couldn't. It's very annoying to listen to!
