Disco de Britney Spears: “Gimme More [2 Track CD]”

Dear Ms. Britney Spears:

For more than 10 years I have been such a fan because I love your music. You have always been such an inspiration because you are so talented and intelligent. I have tremendous respect and admiration for you, but I cannot condone what you are doing to yourself and to your babies. That's why I am so sad to see what is happening to you.

I don't know why everyone is afraid to say it; the fact of the matter is you are a drug-addict. You are addicted to hard-drugs. Cocaine? Heroin? Crack? Only you know for sure. But this type of behavior is not conducive to an alcoholic or to "post-pardon depression." Your addiction to hard-drugs, combined with your (very obvious) severe mental illness is of paramount importance. You will kill yourself if you do not seek and receive help.

Anyone with connected brain-cells can tell that you are desperately ill and are begging for some help. But is there anyone on your "team" who actually cares about your mental, physical and psychological needs? No one seems to care about you because you make all the money and that's all that matters.

Everyone always talks about how crazy Michael Jackson or Whitney Houston is. But at least these two kooks had the good sense God gave a billygoat to disappear. You seem to crave attention and the spotlight. Britney, this abnormal attraction to the limelight is almost like a drug to you. Why do you go out of your way to seek negative-attention throughout the time of severe dementia? If you are sick (and heaven knows you are,) at least have the sense to step away and know that there is no shame in admitting that you need help.

Your record company only cares about profit. They do not care about your well-being at all. If they did, they would not have released any commercial records from you under any circumstance. But they know that the name "Britney Spears" is worth a lot of money and that's all that matters to them. If they kill you along their journey to the rich-house it would be inconsequential to them. Because as far as Jive is concerned, that would just be collateral damage.

Your third (or fourth?) batch of lawyers fired you this week; citing that they cannot represent someone who cannot control themselves. Don't you know how damaging all this is to you and how serious your circumstance is?

We all know that your "family" (or ex-family?) is a bunch of totally worthless people because they are just a pack of bankrupt money-suckers. Your ex-hubby just used you for money and fame; he doesn't want to be a father to your kids any more than he does to the other children he had out of wedlock. His only motivation is greed; why else would his attorney be running back and forth to court every other day? Don't they always say that girls wind up marrying men just like their fathers? I hate to say it Brit, but your daddy is just like your ex-hubby. He's a drunk who was never there for his kids and never took an interest in their lives. When everyone was busy pandering to all of your attention-seeking shenanigans, your 15 year-old sister decided it would be a good idea to get knocked-up by allowing her full-grown, adult boyfriend to rape her repeatedly. How is this normal behavior? And, I've saved the worst and most shocking "family" member for last. Lynne Spears. Your mother, this walking-cesspool sold you into modern-day slavery. She is nothing more than a common pimp. She sucked you dry and got rid of you once it was apparent that she couldn't bleed you for any more cash. Then what does Lynne Spears do? Now she's pimping your baby sister, just like she did you. Lynne Spears actually had the unmitigated nerve to write a book on parenting. She's a good parent? Yeah, right, and Rachael Ray actually keeps cooking during her "quick breaks!" Lynne Spears is a textbook case of a negligent parent!

Britney, I'm sorry to be so harsh. But I feel that someone must be honest with you because there is no one in your life that cares about you enough to tell you the honest truth. Sure, you make a lot of money and you're rich and you're young and you're probably the most famous woman in the world. When you hit rock bottom (and if you're not there yet, you're right as rain on your way there, really, really quick) you will know that none of this matters. Britney, you're walking proof that all the money in the world cannot buy happiness or love (or self-respect.)

Please stop doing drugs! Go to rehab and get yourself some help! Please surround yourself with quality people who are not motivated by money, fame or greed. Please learn to love yourself so that you can be the very best parent to your kids. Please stop going out and acting up in front of all the photographers. If I see another image of your shaved hot-pocket plastered across CNN with the tag "Breaking News" I think I'm gonna gag. This behavior is obscene and vulgar to say the very least. You don't need to act like this. What you need, my dear, is serious psychiatric therapy.

Remember, your babies deserve to have a healthy mother. And, always know that you are better than your worst deed. I pray and hope that 2008 will see a sane and sober Britney Spears.
