Soon after Bonnie recorded this album, she had an operation that changed her voice forever. However, although the difference is noticeable, it's not too dramatic - her voice was always husky.
This album is filled with love songs, all but two of them written by the Scott-Wolfe partnership who, together with David Mackay, produced the album. It yielded the UK top ten hit, Lost in France, and the UK top thirty hit, More than a lover. It also contains Bonnie's cover of the classic pop-rock song, Piece of my heart.
This album may now be difficult to find but most of the tracks have been re-released on various compilations. Nevertheless, it's nice to be able to listen to Bonnie's debut album in its entirety.
