- I disagree
Beyonce does an amazing job on this song. Her falsetto in the song is exotic and intoxicating. She glides over the song effortlessly. The music actually matches the lyrics too. I love this song and it just went to #1 on the singles chart
- Beyonce, "Naughty Girl" [Import CD Single]
This is the fourth single release from Beyonce's debust solo album, "Dangerously in Love". The album version of "Naughty Girl" is a catchy R&B/Hip Hop track great for radio play. Beyonce is one talented singer, songwriter & producer. The track cleverly incorporates a few lines from Donna Summer's hit, "Love To Love You Baby". Beyonce's voice is absolutely beautiful. The version with Lil' Kim is to the original, except it has additional lyrics and rap. Track three is the Calderone-Quayle Club Mix of the title track (and the reason I bought the single) (Calderone-Quayle: see also, Madonna, "Frozen" & "Ray of Light"). As usual, Calderone remixes this catchy track into a hands in the air club anthem. Quayle delivers beautiful piano and melodic lines & backgrounds to Beyonce's vocals. The team beautifully captures Beyonce's "ooohs" over the drums during the build-up, interludes, and conclusions. Track four is a previous Destiny's Child track, "I Know", which follows the typical style of their other recordings. For your interest, the track listing is:
01. Naughty Girl (Album Version) 3:28
02. Naughty Girl (feat. Lil' Kim) 3:47
03. Naughty Girl (Calderone-Quayle Club Mix) 9:38
04. I Know [Destiny's Child] 3:41
All in all, if you are a fan of club/remix and/or hip hop/soul music, than this single is definately for you!
You go girl!
- love 2 love you baby!!!!!!!
well since i bought Dangerously in Love last july this track as always been my favorite from this album the mixes are ok but i bought at Virgin Megastore the Australian Version Of the single
the tracklist of that one is>
1. Naughty girl
2. " " ft. Lil kim
3. " " | Calderon club mix | EXCELLENT CLUB TRACK
4. I know | Beyonce's solo Version |
This UK version is cool too, I don't know why they include a song from Solange, She tries , tries , tries to be recognized in the music bussines, but people is not stupid, she can write songs and stuff but she is not talented as Beyonce' a real artist. the debut album from solange debuted at no, 57 last year then slipped at no 91 and then dissapeared from the chart, and it debuted in that position because the album only cost $ 6.99 !!!!!!!!!!!! i better stop

- Nasty Girl
I initially wasn't going to review this song (that's how awful it was) but I recently heard Destiny's Child's song "Nasty Girl". For those not familiar with it, the chorus is:
Nasty put some clothes on, you lookin' stank
Nasty what's your problem, you should be ashamed
Hard for women like me who try to have some intergrity
You make it hard for girls like myself who respect themselves
And have dignity
You nasty girl, you nasty, you trashy
You classless girl, you sleazy, you freaky
N-A-S-T-Y ya nasty, F-R-E-A-K ya freaky
Girl where's your P-R-I-D-E, put some clothes on
Nasty put some clothes on, I told ya
Don't walk out your house without no clothes on, I told ya
However, the hypocrisy and awful lyrics have nothing to do with my 1-star rating. That is directed straight at Beyonce's shrill falsetto. It gave me a headache througout the entire song.

- Oversampled
It just surprises me when it really comes toward songs by Beyonce. At first, she seemed to be alright to listen to, but she seems to really be turning into another one of those manufactured rip-offs. Her latest song, Naughty Girl, is not really an enjoyable song. I really thought that it just wasn't anything exciting or uplifting to enjoy. The song at the very beginning samples Donna Summer's Love To Love You Baby. The song just simply is the beginning of her overexposure. I think it has to be one of the worst songs I've ever heard right now. As for her, I just hope she reunites with Destiny's Child soon. She just seems to be lost right now.
