While Rosealia is one of my favorite tunes by Better Then Ezra, you need to own this CD single for the song 'Merry Christmas Eve'. I am not a fan of many modern artists creating new Christmas music. Most are forgettable at best. Better Than Ezra has written a poignant, beautiful Christmas song here. Perhaps it hits close to home for me with lines like "Then someone says Santa Claus was here/ One by one by the tree we all appear / Grandmother saves paper to use next year / How wonderful life is at Christmas". Isn't that everyone's Grandmother?
