- The lads are back! Even better than Sooner or Later
An excellent follow-up to their SoL album (which I loved!). It's more guitar-driven (yay!) with the fantastic harmonies still intact, great vocals. The enhanced cd is cool (pics, audio from the guys about each song, "OoMY" video).
Nice mixture of up-tempo songs (Out of My Heart/Staring into Space) and ballads (Sympathy/Run Away). The songs are about love, relationships, heartbreak. Listened to the entire cd numerous times already and don't have any songs that I'd skip. BBMak (co-)wrote all ten songs, producing several. Wish there were more than ten songs though.
Recently saw BBMak again at a local radio concert on Aug. 19, they were great as usual! Since this cd wasn't releasesd then, wasn't familiar w/ the new songs when the guys performed them, but it was still a blast!
1. Out of My Heart - great summer single as was Back Here

- BBMak has gone rock!
I honestly wasn't even a fan of BBMak until I bought this CD. I mean, I wasn't really impressed with some of their old poppy songs, like "Back Here" and "Still On Your Side". When I first heard "Out Of My Heart" on the radio, I was thinking who is this band? When I heard it was BBMak, I was just so shocked! I went out and bought this album and it's one of my absolute favorites. I would consider it more rock than pop, which is great! They definitely have improved themselves. I'm proud to give this album 5 stars!

- rock on!
well, i have to admit that i was a little worried for bbmak when i found out it was going to be a 2 year gap between their albums. i was totally afraid that everyone would forget about them! i'm so glad i was wrong.
this album is definitely worth the wait. the guys have taken that live rock sound right into this record. seriously. i saw them perform this album before it actually came out, and live or not, you get the same rock feeling from all the songs.
i especially love the very retro, "beatle-esque" track "staring into space". it totally takes you back to that happy, carefree time. my other favorites would have to be "run away" and "the beginning". both are just really beautiful raw ballads. the first time i heard "run away" i honestly almost cried. that's how sweet it is.
alright, so i guess you're going to have to trust me on this. "into your head" really is a big step forward for bbmak. if you liked them before, you are going to love them now. i promise. so go out, support these talented boys, and rock on!

- They've Done It Again!
I can't say I've been a fan of BBMak's for a significant time, because I only got their debut CD just weeks ago. But after hearing the first album, I couldn't wait for their second one. I'm sure the wait for other people (up to two years, I think?) was definitely worthwhile. Very, very, very nice. In my opinion, I think it sounds a lot different to the first album. So I don't think I would guarantee anyone they would like this if they loved the first one, but I love both and it looks like a lot of others do too. They definitely have more guitar on this, more rock and a little country in some songs, as oppposed to their debut CD which was much more pop. All the tracks are very catchy, I was singing along by the second chorus for all the songs! Definitely a lot of Beatles influence on this one. (The Bee Gees on the other one, I think) Looks like they've worked on their accents too. (hehe) Here's a complete review of all the tracks:
1. Out Of My Heart : Good song to start the album with. Very Catchy. Great 1st single. Love the guitars!
2. Staring Into Space : My favorite song! The Beatles! That's all I have to say.
3. Get You Through The Night : Also very catchy. A fun song, The Beatles influence there again.
4. After All Is Said And Done : I love the intro! Rock/Pop/Hint of country.
5. Out Of Reach : The guitars are great here. The chorus is a little repetitive, but it sounds okay.
6. She's Everything : Love the intro, great guitar break. I really love those guitars, eh? Good song.
7. Run Away : A very sweet song. Christian's voice gives me goose bumps it's so good!
8. Sympathy : One of my favorites! Soft rock. And of course, I love the instrumental bridge in this song! Great song.
9. I Still Believe : This song reminds me of Train's song, "Drops of Jupiter" Especially the chorus. That kind of "sounds like talking but actually singing" style.
10. The Beginning : A nice end to the great album.
Overall, it's an awesome album, highly recommended for any pop/rock fans. BBMak have done it once again.

- BBMac's More Rock Side
"Into Your Head" is the follow-up album from "Sooner Or Later" by BBMac. Unfortunately, this is the most shamefully overlooked album of 2002 in sales and the Grammys. Admittingly, their previous album didn't sound like they meant their words; rather, they were written by someone else. Therefore, the sound became somewhat sour within time. However, "Into Your Head" feels more real. They seem more into the music than before. Listeners can easily notice the high evolution as musicians. They prove that they've grown out of the "boy band" generation, though they never really were one.
The songs are wonderfully written, produced, and arranged by BBMac. This album explores the more rock side versus before by turning up the volume of the guitars, which they also play. Every track is equally as catchy as the one before and after it, starting with their hit single "Out of My Heart". Their performances are wonderful in every way. The amazing harmonies within the trio give these songs added listening enjoyment. Such quality keeps their sound fresh today.
"Into Your Head" is a great quality rock album that will surely please audiences for a long time. They prove with every song that they will continue releasing great music for a while. If they continue their musical evolution with their next album as they already have, it'll be exciting to hear how it sounds.
