Barry Manilow (born Barry Alan Pincus) is an American singer and songwriter. In 1978, five of his albums were on the best-selling charts simultaneously. He won the American Music Award for Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist for three consecutive years, 1978 1979 and 1980.
