- Definitely Worth Buying!
Many BNL fans ponder on why BNL released "Shoe Box EP." Some say BNL was trying to simply make money. Others say they wanted fans to hear the original version of 'If I Had $1,000,000.' Yet there is an unreleased track included on the album. "Trust Me" is a great song. That song, alone, is just enough to buy the album. It's a great track, and a wonder to me why it was not included on 'Gordon' or on 'Maybe You Should Drive.' It would have fit perfectly on each of those. I suggest to those just discovering the Barenaked Ladies to buy this one first. It's a great way to discover just why so many people love these guys.

- Four tracks, but still great
Ok, so Shoebox isn't exactly my favorite Barenaked Ladies song, but that didn't stop me from getting the EP. For one, there's the classic Yellow Tape version of If I Had $1,000,000. Trust Me is a great song. I personally love the line, "I don't know where I'm going, you can drop me there." But perhaps the best part of the whole thing, and worth the price all on its own, is the multimedia. So much fun, and so huge. Lots of goodies to keep you entertained.

- Excellent Sample of the Ladies
Most people do not realize that BNL does have more albums and songs besides "one week" I think that if you liked "stunt" then this is a good CD to buy if you want to sample some of their other work. The ever famous "if i had a $1000000" is on this too. And the song "Shoe Box" is fun. Whenever I listen to their music, it makes me smile, and that's the biggest compliment I can give any group.

- Don't forget the CD-ROM!
A great cd in its own right, Shoe Box offers some of the best of the BNL, including "Shoe Box" itself (featured also on the FRIENDS television soundtrack) and "If I Had 1,000,000." However, not to be missed is the debut of the BNL cd-rom, repeated on Born On A Pirate Ship and Rock Spectacle. This is also the transition cd for the Ladies. With this one, they go from hugely popular in Canada and the Western United States to well-known and liked across North America.

- Not just a Canadian Band anymore
BNL is not just a Canadian band any more as shown in this album. Shoebox shows the fun loving BNL that helped sky rocket BNL to Canadian fame. Way to go guys
