As much as i loved B5's debut album. I didn't know how they were going to top it...not that they needed to really. But with their sophomore release "Don't Talk, Just Listen". They have more than done that and silenced any critics out there at the same time. 2 of the members are 18 or older so the song material has a more grown up edge to it. But not so much that it passes over the other guys in the group. B5 is a talented and awesome group to not only watch on video but to hear on cd or at a concert. They are super talented and don't need any of the negative energy or i'm better than you words to get their talent across.
They just get out there everyday and do it. Thats how it should be for further proof check out "No One Else" its acapella and B5 straight rips it like its nothing. I'm normally not into it but i couldnt help but hum along to the song..not that just that one obviously. But you get my drift. The Breeding brothers are back with a venegance and won't go unnoticed at all. With this 2nd stellar release by B5. They are poised to take on all comers and have major success for years to come...no flash in the pan or fluke at all on this one. Pure talent eventually wins over flash in the pan/one hit wonders regardless
Every song on "Don't Talk, Just Listen" is worthy of radio or single play..so do yourselves a favor and get this new cd by B5. They are taking the game and Bad Boy to the very limits and beyond. All favorites on the cd...but here goes for the heck of it
Hydrolic feat Bow Wow (love the video, song, everything)
How You Not Gonna (infectious beat, lyrics)
Right 2 Left (its sick in my book)
No One Else (acapella loved it)
So Incredible (another smash in the wings)
Rockstar (r&b+rock=success love it)
Must Love Drama (another one right here)
Tear Drops
In My Bedroom (slow jam classic in the making)
Lol...the whole cd every song is a favorite. Yes it's really that good and might get another one for someone for a gift perhaps. Support them by getting this legally (it is very worth the money) not preaching..just saying.
Enough of that, its round 2 B5 is the ring knocking em out with "Don't Talk, Just Listen"
*5 stars all around*
This is a great CD my daughter loves it. I would recommend it to any teenager. The packing was good and I received it in good timing.
I FIRST HEARD THESE GUYS' SECOND ALBUM LAST YEAR WHEN I CHECKED IT OUT FROM THE LIBRARY. I REMEMBER I KEPT PLAYING OVER AND OVER AGAIN "SHE GOT IT LIKE THAT". I SAID TO MYSELF 'MAN THESE BOYS ARE TALENTED'. AFTER PLAYING THAT SONG SOME 100 TIMES, I CHECKED OUT THE OTHER SONGS. I WAS IMPRESSED!!! THE NEXT SONG I PLAYED 100 TIMES WAS "TEARDROPS". THE VOCALIZATION, HARMONIZATION, THE BEAT AND THE RAP IS AMAZING. I DIDN'T GET THE OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE "DON'T TALK, JUST LISTEN", BUT I'M GLAD I BOUGHT IT (AND GLAD THAT AMAZON.COM HAD IT)FOR THE PRICE I DID WHICH WAS A HELLUVA STEAL. I HOPE THEY GO FAR BECAUSE THEY ARE AWESOME. THE STANDOUT SONGS (AND MY FAVORITES)ARE "TEARDROPS", "IN MY BEDROOM", "HOW YOU NOT GONNA", "SO INCREDIBLE", "RIGHT TO LEFT", "ERICA KANE", "SHE GOT IT LIKE THAT" AND "HYDROLICS".
My daughter {age 15) is enjoying this CD. It was a gift for school grades.
This new album, almost anyone can relate to this album, no questions asked! They matured so much throughout the years and very well deserve a chance. When people think of them, they think of the little guys singing bout how he loves school or something like that. With this album, everything varries which gives the album a nice variety and gives all listeners a newer, maturer B5. COP THERE ALBUM DONT TALK JUST LISTEN IN STORES NOW!
