Disco de Ashlee Simpson: “Autobiography [Bonus Tracks]”

It's bad enough the world is subjected to Jessica Simpson, but do we really need to have Jessica's far-less-talented sister shoved down our throats?

Just because you are the sibling of somebody famous doesn't mean that you deserve to be famous too. Seriously, if this girl wasn't related to Jessica Simpson, do you think that any record company would give her the time of day? Enough said.

Her meltdowns on SNL and the Orange Bowl just prove that she is totally untalented. A year from now, she'll be nothing more than a punch line to a joke and anyone owning a copy of this CD will be left feeling very, very embarrassed.

I am sick and disgusted with the state of the music industry. All these TV stars want to be singers. Ashlee Simpson can't sing live and she is a terrible performer.

Maybe thats why the lip syncs, she sounds like a dying donkey when she sings.

Did you see the Orange Bowl halftime? The was the worst vocal performance I have ever watched/heard in my entire life.

It was so painful listening to Ashlee Simpson perform live.

OMG! I can't stand her or her voice. Its just so anoying and even "Pieces Of Me" makes me want to hurl. Even the rumors about her lip syncing, I heard that she was loosing her voice or whatever. Her sister Jessica Simpson is way much better than her. I dont even know why Ashlee even got her own CD! And if she gets her second album, dont even buy that either. Waste of money. End of discussion.

Well, she has acomplished a lot, as in nothing. Nowadays, a "musician" like Ashlee Simpson can take credit for writing songs that she didn;t write. And MTV is all like, she's so talented! she wrote this song all by herself! ..... I write my own music, along with all other real musicans who arn;t rich spoiled talentless little girls. She doesn;t even make her own lyrics, someone else does. It's so selfish, she takes all the credit just because she pays people to let her. sad. I don;t understand what the big deal is here, she can;t play an instrument... She can barely even sing... she can;t write her own lyrics... she can't write her own songs... she probably doesn;t even know what a note is. I'm sick and tierd of MTV and what they do.

Why I hate MTV...

1. They use bands and make them do what they want by putting them on this show.

2 They promote bad music, that really sucks, and everyone should hate... Oh ya! like Ashlee Simpson and Hillary Duff!

3. Everyone is always all like, oh! the TV says that this is good music! it must be good music! I'm going to go waste my money and buy this garbage because MTV told me too!

4. They are destroying music appreciation... To you those musicians out there who write songs for talentless worthless people like this, and get no credit, and watch those stupid people get rich and famous for them, I feel your pain. ( not really, but I bet I can tell how much you hate it)

5. Almost every worthless person that they put on this show seems to be famous the next day. why? just because they're on TV they're the kind of music people want to hear? sad.

6. Have you Noticed that all of these people don;t even play an instrument? it's laughable, they consider themselves, rockers, or whatever, and can;t even play guitar! They don;t even have real drummers usually! just a drum machine! They dont't even have a real bass! just a bass machine. Not that a vocalist isn't a musician, my all time favorite musician as well as my greatest inspiration is Jesse Micheals, he's a vocalist, but at least he writes his own lyrics! these cheap selfish pop stars are taking credit for music and lyrics that they didn;t even write.

What hope do we have when this system thrives? the answer is none. Soon people arn't even going to know who the Clash or Pink Floyd are. Only rappers like 50 cent, and rich spoiled little pathetic shards of people who are ruining the world. I wish that people would listen to the kind of music that they like to listen to, and explore new stuff, instead of buying whatever the media tells them too.

I can understand how middling performers insulate themselves with sycophants and yes-men so they become out of touch with their own relevance, but I am bewildered by all of the favorable reviews here! This young lady has mediocre talent at best, and anybody with a producer can sound OK with enough tweaking. But is this really the best we can do?

People at the Orange Bowl were right to boo her.

I saw her show on MTV & caught her talking about "Bible stories" (the storyteller was Jewish & trying to explain Yom Kippur).

Ignorance may be bliss, but that was offensive.

We are all dumber for having been exposed to Ashlee Simpson.
