"Left Outside Alone" is the lead single off Anastacia's 3rd, self-titled album. With this song, Anastacia explores new musical territory, while still including her previous style. The type of music, as she calls it, "Sprock", is a combination of pop, rock and r&b/soul music. Though you might find it skeptical going into the blender, the result is completely satisfying. A good jump for Anastacia. The remixes for "Left Outside Alone" were done by Jason Nevins (Anastacia, "Sick & Tired"; Widelife, "All Things (Just Keep Getting Better"), a remixer who's been around for a while, but is presently being pushed further into the light. It's a good things - these remixes rock! He sets the tone for a house-club remix, while still including the "sprock" feel of the original. Can Mr. Nevins do no wrong? His remixes for Elvis, The Blackout All-Stars, Kelly Clarkson, and Madonna have been wonderful, and he continues this tradition with Anastacia.

2. Get Ready (Album Version) (9.9/10, 3:33): Eh. An entertaining, but forgettable, track. She cusses a lot too.

4. Left Outside Alone (J. Nevins Global Club Mix) (11/10, 8:10): Takes awhile to get started, but still AWESOME!!!

5. Left Outside Alone (Jason Nevins Mixshow) (2000/10, 5:31): The absolute BEST remix he's ever done. More of a tribal feel than the others.

I love the song Get Ready very rock especially love how she cusses in the middle of the song! It had me laughing ha ha

The song is a very good discription of what she has gone through with cancer. She was left outside alone and she survived! Love this woman. I knew I'd love this song and the mixes. The last one is really cool. Love the way they play the drum beat backwards. The longest remix is probably already being played in clubs. I know it'll be playing in my club/room ha ha

So if u love Anastacia and her last albums then pick this up.

This woman has it all: An amazing, powerful, expressive, and unique voice, great song writing skills, and the looks of a world class model! Isn't that what every music company wants these days? If they do, Anastacia is their poster child. Some may call her voice overpowering, and her music overproduced, but who needs them! Alreaady huge overseas, North America has not embraced Anastacia the way Europe has. Why? The only reason I can come up with is that Sony has not done their job in promoting Anastacia the way she should be. How can they expect an artist to make a name in North America if they just sit back and relax? I wish more people knew about this lady, for her talent is very much overlooked.
