Amy Grant is one of the most famous Christian music singers and this is her first album. Some people think this is a classic album. I think it's a great album but there's a couple of songs that are not so good: "Psalm 104" is a little bit too long. "Father" has been lenghtened too much. All the other 11 songs are great! The openers "Beautiful Music" and "Mountain Top" are great old-time music with funny sounds. They are also very touching and has great lyrics. The best song in the album, at least the most famous, is "Old Man's Rubble" which belong to my top-5 of Amy Grant songs. "Grape, Grape Joy", "Walking in the Light", and "He Gave Me a New Song" are great, happy songs with good sense of homour - you have to like 'em. "What a Difference You've Made" is a happy and touching song. Amy Grant's is so natural and beautiful and that it makes you wanna weep. The music is great and the message is the best - The Jesus Christ! It's so amazing!

Stars: Old Man's Rubble, Walking in the Light, Mountain Top

This CD takes me back in time and is as fresh today as it was then. You can find plenty of information about the songs, so I'll focus on the sound quality. What I find to be incredible is how well it is (re)mastered. The sound is absolutely gorgeous. Even when ripped with EAC to MP3 using LAME, the sound remains breathtaking: in the car, on my main sound system, and in a pair of Bose QuietComfort2 headphones. The same goes for the other remastered CDs. What a joy this music brings!
