Disco de Amber: “Yes [CD/12"]”

One of clubland's most loved but critically overlooked divas returns with the first glimpse at her third full length set. While comparisons to 'Sexual' will run rampant, this little dance gem stands firmly on it's own--the radio edit is superb, and both Hex Hector mixes are typically first-rate, tweaking ever-so-slightly an already strong track. The Illicit tracks take the song on a slightly different, though no less satisfying trek--their mixes deviate far more from the original's melody than the HQ2 versions. Nonetheless, another winner from one of dance music's brightest.

This song is soooo hot!! The original version is a unique dance track that only Amber could pull off. As if having this wasn't enough, there is a Hex Hector remix which is HOT AS HELL!! On this CD single, all you need to do is skip to track 4 for the superb remix by Hex Hector, who gives the otherwise nondescript song a memorable groove. Unlike other mixes, which do nothing more than add a drum machine to the vocal, Hex Hector's remix really makes the best use of Amber's voice, and the lyrics sound even sexier here. This mix is found here in a full-length version and an edited radio version. It also appears on at least a half-dozen dance compilations, and it's easy to see why. To be sure, this song is no "Sexual," but it's already one of the most slammin' dance numbers of the year. Just say "yes."

My, is this song hot! Hex Hector remix is a dancefloor peak hour song, that one that makes everyone throw down! It's a real pity they don't show the single cover here, it is so pretty. Anyway, if you like dance music, hot remixes and Amber, buy this now!

My local radio station has this program late in the night where they play dance music all night long so it feels like you're at a dance club. They've been starting to play this song by Amber a lot, and I love it! "Yes" is an awesome club song--perfect for dancing. It's smooth and sexy, another sure-to-be Amber classic. I actually think it's better than her other popular dance tune, "Sexual", which is also really good. This CD-Single for the song "Yes" is great because not only does it have the original radio-edit cut, but it also has some great remixes, which are the "Yes (HQ2 Remix)", "Yes (Illicit Remix)", "Yes (HQ2 Big Room Club Remix)", and "Yes (Illicit Club Remix)". Some of these remixes are very long--such as the 'Illicit Club Remix'--that is over 9 minutes long! I love this song and if you are a fan of Amber or a fan of dance club music, then this CD-Single is highly recommended. You'll be dancing all night long!
