- I'm not really into maxi-singles, but.....

....for the club heads and DJs, this is something good to pick up. My fave mixes are the HiNrg Radio Edit (track 8) and HiNrg club mix (track 2). Both are very trancy, and have elements of europop and of course rock that's on the original version. The House Deluxe mix is pretty good too. All mixes (except one by Mike Cruz) are totally produced by Wolfram Dettki (Amber's producer for the album My Kind of World)...no Thunderpuss or CLub 69 needed here. Wolfram did a pretty good job without hiring expensive remixers.

By the way, you get 8 different mixes of You Move Me with this one. If you want a signed copy and don't want to pay shipping, buy this off her website instead (www.amber-mcc.com) and visit her Boutique.

I would have ranked this a 5 but like I said I'm not into maxi-singles and like a little variety like in a regular album, but still, it's a good collectible (esp. a signed one!) Get it today.

- A good giddy romp

Amber comes back with a vengance with her first single since leaving Tommy Boy Records, and it's a joyous romp with a rock edge and fetishistic lyrics. The Hi-NRG mix (both the club version and the radio edit) is the best remix of the bunch with its pulsing electro groove. The Vienna Summer mix is great as well, an echo-heavy number which uses the vecoder giving the mix a Daft Punk/"Believe"-era Cher effect. Welcome back!

- You move me - and she does just that

In the world of cookie-cutter dance divas - AMBER is proud not to follow the mold!

On the first single from her new cd MY KIND OF WORLD - Amber proves that the depth of her dance music is not just limited to the "club anthems" "thunder" mixes and typical music of the dancefloors of today.

Self-written and self-produced and self-mixed (along with Wolfram Dettki) she takes to the dance floors on all the mixes - relying on her own judgement of what the dance public wants to hear - she hits the mark and keeps going strong.

Mike Cruz is the only known mixer on this single, and quite honestly - it's nice to hear from him...but to hear the actual ARTISTS re-interpret her own material more than once and keep the vision of the song clear is quite astounding in this day and age.

Cher and Bette Midler have recorded her music - so they see the quality of what this woman is achieving in the world of music.

My personal favorite mix is the VIENNA SUMMER MIX - nicely done with a touch of tribute to Donna Summer - the ultimate Dance Diva - and even (I think) she would approve of this great first single from a truely great and inspiring artist!
