Aaron Carter Album: “Most Requested Hits”
Description :
Personnel includes: Aaron Carter (vocals); Nick Carter, (vocals); Sheppard, Mark Swersky (guitar, bass); Michael Thompson, Kevin Armstrong, Martin Bushell, Fran Catchcart (guitar); Larry "Rock" Campbell (guitar, keyboards, bass, programming); Andy Goldmark (keyboards, bass, programming, background vocals); Nicky Cook, Mark "Info" Reily (keyboards); James Genus (bass); Kenny Gioia (drums, background vocals); Denny Weston (drums); Patrik Berger (programming); J Force (scratches); Keli Glover, Brian Kierfulf, Josh Schwartz, No Secrets, Marc Nelson, Buck Johnson, Daniel O'Donoghue, Baha Men, Javier Picayo, Mickey Saltzman, Natalia Tylim, Jane Carter (background vocals).
Producers includes: Brian Kierulf, Steve Mac, Josh Schwartz, Scorpio, Mystery.
At age 15, Aaron Carter turned out to be one of the youngest performers to ever earn a major-label greatest-hits package. The younger brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter began performing at seven, releasing his first record at 10. MOST REQUESTED HITS follows an astonishing four original releases and an EP. Therefore, this collection is far from unearned, and offers a good cross-section of the cotton-candy hits of the singer's pre-teen years and the more straightforward boy-band dance-croon of his early teenhood.
MOST REQUESTED HITS opens with the spoken intro from Carter's biggest hit, "here's a little bit of old-school for you" from the '80s-going-on-'90s, funk-infused "Aaron's Party (Come Get It)." That song is from Aaron's third album of the same name, also represented by two songs playing perfectly on his precociousness; a cover of '60s bubblegum classic "I Want Candy" and the self-explanatory dream sequence "That's How I Beat Shaq." On the other side of the spectrum are the fetching torch song "Do You Remember" and the outlandish patriotic chant "America A O," where the teen icon discovers his new voice.

- MUST HAVE!!!!!!!!!!!

Aaron Carter's Most Requested Hits is perfect and needed for any Aaron Carter fan. It has his biggest hits (which helps for the few who only have a few of his cds)plus three new songs. She Wants Me (featuring Nick Carter) is one song. It was featured with the game Twister Dance Moves. I love the song as well as the other songs One Better (Aaron performed this on the Macy's Thanksgiving day Parade)and My Shorty. Great CD!!

- Great CD AARON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome. Here are my ratings, ten the best, 0 the worst.

1. Aaron's Party (come get it)--Fun. This is really funny and I like it. 9

2. I Want Candy--Young Aaron at his best. Another fun one, but better than Aaron's Party. 10+!

3. That's How I Beat Shaq--So-so. The intro music is really annoying, but for kids 6 or 7, it's good. 7 1/2

4. Oh Aaron--I have mixed feelings about this. This is the funniest, cutest, and most innocent that you will get in pop, but No Secrets is abominable on the chorus! 9

5. Not Too Young, Not Too Old--Perfect song for ages 11-14. His rapping is smooth, perfect. 10

6. I'm All About You--Yes, fans! Aaron sings ballads, too! And beautiful ones. THIS ONE ROCKS!!! 10+++

7. Leave It Up To Me--It's a lot like No. 5, so I like it, but the lyrics are a bit arrogant, like "Mom & Dad, they're getting on my nerves..." But good. 9

8. Another Earthquake--Good AARON!!! This is alright. 8 1/2

9. To All The Girls--One of my favorites. THAT IS SAYING A LOT!!!! Beautiful song. 10+++

10. Summertime--I don't really like the Baha Men, except for "Who Let The Dogs Out." But they make it interesting. 7 1/2

11. Do You Remember--Beautiful, Aaron. Luv this 1. 10

12. America A O--BEST PATRIOTIC SONG THAT I HAVE EVER HEARD!!!! THIS ROCKS!!! 10+++

13. She Wants Me--The lyrics at the beginning are funny, but I don't get the rest of the song. 8

14. One Better--ANOTHER FAVORITE!! THIS IS NO DOUBT THE BEST!!! 10+++++++++

15. My Shorty--I like it. 8 1/2

16. (bonus remix)--It's a remix of my most recent favorite. Luv this 1 2. THIS ROCKS!!! 10+++++++++

- Great CD!

This goes back down the years of Aarons CDs. It has some of his old songs, that show how he used to be, and they show how much hes matured with what he sings about, and how his voice has matured. The three new tracks on it are- "She Wants Me" Which is a song with his brother, one of my favorites. "One Better" Which Aaron had a hand with in writing, which is my favorite song of all time. "My Shorty" Which is an amusing song to try to understand. All in all, this is a must have for Aaron Carter fans.

- He's Simply the Best

Aaron Carter has such youthful energy, enthusiasm, and his songs reflect it all... I just enjoy them, plain and simple. The best of his last three CDs is on this album, and were pretty much the songs I would have chosen had I been the record compan exec who produced it. With a bonus duo on the CD with big bro Nick, it is a great buy for anyone who loves solo male pop music.... plain and simple!
